This Ugg-Boot-Company-Thing Has Been Around For Longer Than You Think

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on YOU!"

In the 90's, Teva Sandals were the biggest shoe-fad among nitwits and jock douchebags. People were throwing their credit cards down in the area of 60$ for a pair of these, having them made you king for the decade - Unless all of your friends had a pair too, then you were just one of the crowd. Which is typical even today - except now, guys compete for the biggest house and the most women they can fuck. And the women compete for the best car they never work for and the most guys they can fuck. The fucking tends to lead to the car, somehow that makes sense - Most guys are narcissistic retards and don't deserve their money anyway. You don't see me throwing a fit about it.

Now it's all about Ugg Boots, the worst abomination since black prisoners started sagging their pants for being too skinny. Even 30 years later they're still milking that goat. Most pants-fads tend to come and go pretty fast - Skidz were huge in the 80s, Z-Cavariccis were another one, but the most recent one was Capri Pants..Only faggots like Ashton Kutcher still wear that bullshit, it blew over within a year.
I dont want to turn this into a personal-opinion rant, but I will not date a woman or even be seen with one who wears a pair of these Ugg Boots in public. Owning a pair should be like owning an SS-Uniform bought from some closet-homo off of Craigslist: You can wear it around the house and take pictures, but damned if you would put it on and do the food shopping.

Anywho! Guess who makes Ugg Boots? Company called Deckers Outdoor Corporation - The same company who also made Teva. Feel stupid yet for wearing them, falling for a fad again from the same company more than 10 years ago?

No? It gets worse, I'm afraid you've been had if you were into Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr and Sonic Youth back in the day..Or supported the Alien Workshop Skateboard Company: Simple Shoes were really popular with the grunge freaks and skaters back when the Teva and Khaki wearin' pussies were pissing them off. All of my sisters hippie and skater pals had at least one pair.

Guess what though? Yep, same company. The jocks and the skaters mutually agreed to support the same company, albeit not directly implied. You guys might as well have been playing football together while listening The Smashing Pumpkins on a BMW radio in the field. That is pure marketing genius. You fell for it then, and you're falling for it now by the same company:

These days Simple Shoes advertises themselves as eco-friendly, all-natural and organic. The website is rebellious, hip, and thumbs their noses at 'The Man'. Most likely their demographics now are peta-freaks and skinny vegans with too much money who want to save the whales but don't give a fuck about people. Logical, I know!

Too bad you're all being taken for a ride. That is to say, you're bending over and letting them jam their boots right up your ass: The same corporation who currently owns Ugg Boots made in a sweatshop in the far-east, From Sheepskin, and sold to rich Gaga-Worshiping Skanks in the far-west, whose only priorities in the real world include Valtrex and Manicures..also has a stake in the Organic Shoe Market. And they both are or were incredibly popular fads at one point. They're fucking with you more then you can possibly imagine.

In all fairness, this is far from the first time a company has had conflict of interest by making opposite brands to have their cake and eat it too. One example from the same time period? 'OK Cola' was a secret attempt by Coca-Cola to get the Gen-X'ers on their side. Didn't work though, they were ousted and lost a whole lot of money. The same guy who marketed 'New Coke' was also behind Ok Cola. Seems like the coke company is just not good with most things.

Sorry folks. People told you marketing was all bullshit, but you never listened, and you aren't likely to listen now from a 30-year-old blogger. But I tried. Decker's Stock price is currently $93 a share because of shitheads like you.

tl;dr - The same company who makes Uggs (The #1 shoe-fad) also makes Teva and Simple (The #1 shoe-fads of the 90's - one was marketed to the squares, the other to the skaters). Also Simple is an "Organic Shoe Brand" but Uggs are not.
